We’re excited to announce a new three-season partnership between Pillar Sport and
[Lakapi Samoa](https://www.lakapisamoa.com/), the main organization for rugby in
Samoa, leading up to the next Rugby World Cup in Australia—a significant time for
the Union. Lakapi Samoa is dedicated to growing rugby across all levels in Samoa,
from grassroots to elite teams. As the organization behind Samoa’s national teams—
including [Manu Samoa](https://www.instagram.com/manu.samoa/) (the men’s team) and
[Manusina](https://www.instagram.com/manusina_swr/) (the women’s team)—Lakapi Samoa
plays a vital role in building and promoting the sport across the islands.

Recently, Manu Samoa showcased their skill and determination in the 2024 Pacific
Nations Cup, securing an impressive last-minute 18-13 victory over the USA in September,
which earned them a strong third-place finish in the Pacific pool standings. Looking
forward, Manu Samoa remains focused on further Pacific Nations Cup matches, with
hopes of reaching the tournament’s semifinals and competing for the title.

Manusina, Samoa’s women’s rugby team, has been competing fiercely in the Oceania
Rugby Women’s Championship, recently achieving a decisive 29-7 victory over Tonga.
This tournament carries significant weight, as it doubles as a qualifying event
for the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup in England. Manusina’s strong form highlights
their determination to secure a spot and proudly represent the Pacific region on
the world stage.

the sport’s growth and inspire future generations of Samoan athletes.
