ZINC OXIDE ALLERGY:
A small number of people are naturally allergic to Zinc Oxide Adhesive, which is common in most adhesives on tape (e.g. Rigid tape; some glues spray). Symptoms: skin irritation and minor swelling. Symptoms may take 2-3 days to subside, washing skin thoroughly after use can minimize this effect. If your symptoms are severe or persist, stop using the product and consult your doctor.
Hypoallergenic Fix-It can act as a barrier to help prevent allergic reactions and improve adhesion. However, heavy sweating over a long period may spread tape adhesive off the barrier base.

IMPROVE ADHESION:
Avoid moisturizing skin with lotions or oils before strapping as this hinders tape adhesion. Dry and clean skin prior application. Using Pillar Sports Hypo Fix-It can also aid adhesion, and prevent tap-ing directly over sensitive skin and wounds.

EXTRA TIPS:
Shaving areas of taping will improve adhesion and facilitate tape removal after use.
